Photoshop CS2 autosave from .jpeg to .psd?

How do I change the autosave in photoshop so it chooses .jpeg when im working on a .jpeg image not .psd?

You'll have to use "Save as"

well. normally when your done.. just go to save as jpeg and then when you close it it normally askes u to save it as psd so u can edit it later :S but i dunno and i dunno if u mean to change that but i doubt u can.

Everytime i go ctrl+s to save, it goes ".psd" and i have to select .jpeg..

No, full cs2

that is normal, it should give you loads of different options to save as. being so many i dont think you can autosave but i mite be wrong because ive never really checked for that

I like to save every min or so and i get annoyed after a while. :p

i just tried changing some general setting and i didnt see anything about default saving.

best thing to do would be to save as psd till you have your finished work saves you looking for the file format you want
