tried to make a realistic planet..lol..
the only thing not done by me is the mountains (which is probaby the nicest thing there =p).
erm its a big file, 1.1mb. 1600x1200 so wait for it to load!

Earth would have looked better if it was on its own, its just to big to be just their over the mountains. the earth looks really good i must admit... nice try though.

yea there would be a problem, a tidal wave.
it looks abit dodgy cos the planet around the edges is clearly only 2d while the the mountains ect are all 3d... but it looks awesome :D
hmm its ok but the lighting is wrong, if you look at the mountains the light source is coming from a different direction
maybe you should download terragen if you havent already ;)
