7/10 for your first work. I could never get into PS and I couldn't do shit. I really like it I think it looks pretty damn cool.

Heh.. i think instead of people been a bunch of AS*holes they should instead just rate it and help..... god.. you ppl who just abuse the poor person dont help them..
Anyhow.. id rate it about 5/10 Not a bad effort at all for a first timer keep going and youll just keep getting better.
However.. the main reasons i rated it as i did.. is ...
1. I really dont think a drop shadow suits a Signature
2. Dont really thing the inner glow suits it...
3. I cant fully tell whether its the mix of shadow and light or youve added a bevel to it ? i wouldnt with a signature.. instead just use the 1 pixel border this looks much more effective..
So basically your border is a big downgrade i think...
4. Im not too sure about that bleed effect you have goin over it..
5. Your text ( your name on the sig ) Could be a bit bigger .. also to go with the theme.. ghost it a bit by this i mean.. duplicate it twice.. lower the alpha and blur and then have one half above and one half below.. i think you get what i mean anyway..
6. As a final thing.. with your guy that youve chosen in your signature.. you want it to stand out a bit more.. and be mre of a a focal point.. i think its a bit too faded out ... also instead to get that faded out effect.. have that background or certain parts of it over your dude in their so it looks like hes in the signature and not just planted on top of it.. i think that is the main feature detracting from it.

1. 800 posts dont mean a thing.. just means youve posted a hell of alot of crap like you have there. just saying a couple of word sentance to get your post count up. And posts dont have a thing to do with skill in photoshop.
2. You think everyone but you is a noob, your too full of yourself and on your own high horse, get over yourself, you arent as good as you think you are seriously, ive seen far better then you and i think you just give these short responses to most ppl n say there noob... maybe a bit intimidated? A few people like a couple of your works n so you think you can just go boast about it everywhere like your the best graphic artist around.
This shows.. cus a person who was good would actually try and help people out instead of just replying with a completely useless post.. you didnt even rate it for christ sake.. you mayaswell call what you posted spam.
3. You dont have to give long post like i do.. thats my choice and i just try and help people out where i can, but saying what you do doesnt help anyone in any way.

1. I didnt call everyone an asshole... i called those people who are simply coming here and saying your work sucks.. your works shit.. you suck.. and simply insulting the person and critisising without giving any reason what so ever why they say this. Its just spam more or less. you can see this from where i said "you ppl who just abuse the poor person dont help them"
2. The person as asked for a rating with ratings comes critisism.. and atleast its friendly crtisism and im trying to suggest different things he can do to perhaps improve on his work ? Im not just saying your work is rubbish it sucks like some.
3. No i dont bother with a avatar and signature, and i will post some art some times soon ive just never been bothered too i dont come to ragezone to simply seek attention to myself i try to help others out rather then just seek everyones attention and not give a damn about anything else. Last, unlike necrosis i dont make out as if im some pro at photoshop or im the best at it, and say others suck etc, i just try and give suggestions and advise wherever i can.
Last 5/10 isnt that bad of a rating its meaning average.. 1/10 would be bad... you act like if givin him a awful rateing lol? And atleast im saying hes doing a good job for a new person to photoshop which i think he is.
Perhaps that will help you a bit more understand what i was meaning and trying to say?
