not that bad actually. but theres not much going on there. try adding c4ds and such and look for tutorials.

Just looks little plain on the left side, some c4d's would maybe fill it :P

Don't use outer glow for C4D's.. looks horrible :s
anyway, use a gradient map(on the full tag) and it will turn out much better :)

It's alright mate, than others who are beginners too. (I am not good in photoshop, I am just giving my opinions what did they made and might help to give their best for their improvements and to become brave).

For first attemp, 4/10.
