hexagons isn't a style FF7 created, it's a style used by FF7 ;) There's a difference
About the sig, text is perfect, render is blended in well, but the left vertical part where the ragezone text is and the lower darker part is not good, the sig would look alot better without them imo ... something like this (hope you don't mind I cutted out the shapes)
