Negativeeee space.
and it lacks blending

gradients, smudging, blurring, i tried all that too. =X
Too red. Use nice colors like blue, or white.

Try some fg smudge on the right.
The negative space bugs me as well. :O

because it looks like on 2 and 3
there is alot of extra space,

Also the tag looks un-finished + more depth and more effects.

use dodge tool a bit?

For Me, I'd Choose The First One.
If You Want Neg Space, You Should Put More Blending etc.
