Wow.. usually I would say this sucks, but I felt a amazing depth even some pro's can't manage to get.
Awesome depth, but the effects suck :\
awwww well at least i got some of it right =D
by effects d'you mean the blending etc or like the thingies coming out?![]()
Eh, you got the idea down with the render.
But it's not flowing at all with the effects :/
i still don't know what flow means![]()
#
1. To move or run smoothly with unbroken continuity, as in the manner characteristic of a fluid.
2. To issue in a stream; pour forth: Sap flowed from the gash in the tree.
# To circulate, as the blood in the body.
# To move with a continual shifting of the component particles: wheat flowing into the bin; traffic flowing through the tunnel.
# To proceed steadily and easily: The preparations flowed smoothly.
# To exhibit a smooth or graceful continuity: The poem's cadence flowed gracefully.
Does that help?

you know what would be easier?
giving me an example of a sig which flows and circle bits maybe?
Am I the only one seeing the good depth?
flowww... e.g. when the render is in the middle and the effects goes on the opposite side of the render (left and right)
if the renders is on the right, flow is on the left.
See how my sig FLOWS to the upper left?
Thats flow.
And as for the depth, it makes your render seem more up close then your bg does. Thats depth.
ohhh righttttt
finally! i understand what depth and flow means
although i dont see how my effects sucked >.>
I made the 1st (depth) signature. I, also, made the 2nd (depth) signature. Laced made the 3rd signature. [Sorry, Laced]
Depth is when the render stands out from the background. More experienced people tend to use burn/dodge to create depth because it doesn't change the main color scheme. Many beginners tend to change the colors around which doesn't make the signature blend. For example, The 1st and 2nd signatures below uses dodge/burn and a matching color scheme to pull off a nice depth. The 3rd signature may use dodge/burn but it is less noticeable and the render/stock doesn't stand out as much. Also, The image is not of great quality and the color scheme doesn't match with the render/stock. One last thing, The 3rd signature repeats a lot of brushes and colors and the render/stock is placed DEAD center which is not alway good. A good place would be mid-left or mid-right and the render/stock should be resized.
