Lensflare looks horrible and the render doesn't blend with the background.
Lightsource = the lensflare and is on the wrong side of the render XD
try some smudging to blend the render into the bg.

If you like dark, then maybe you should make it dark.
The brightness is too high. There are no true blacks. And Mr Ibis is talking rubish, the quality isnt huge at all.

It's quite dark, not everything per definition has to be "emo-cutterish". I think it's just fine. Like a beam of light piercing the dark clouds, symbolizing hope? And besides, Venom doesn't represent light, now does he/it, LILK@OS? I could agree with you on the lossy quality, but just because there's no "true blacks", doesn't mean it isn't dark.

Very deep indeed. Brings back memories, considering Venom is my favourite Marvel villain of all time. Keep up the nice work OP!
