note Some constructive critique? [56K WARNING]

Alright, I've been trolling this section for quite awhile, and now I'm feeling lightheaded and so I probably won't rage...
Here are a number of my previous works, some dating back over 2-3 years.
I will give a description of each, and I'd like to see some opinion.

    - One of my earlier attempts at smudging.
    ---

    - This one is ancient.
    ---

    - My first avatar.
    - Basic animation tricks using photoshop, no png alteration involved.
    ---

    - My second(third?) signature.
    ---

    - No idea exactly when I made this. Was back in my CG gen2 days.
    ---

    - Totally random.
    - I lied, this was actually an old sig for an SoTW entitled Yandere... I didn't really get it right, did I.
    ---

    - Very old userbar from when I was in Authentic on CG.
    ---

    - My first ecchi sig.
    - Also my first attempt at using wireframe to create depth.
    - Failed.
    ---

    - Userbar I made for when I joined nM's GFX club.
    - Favourite of all my userbars.
    ---

    - Not sure when this was made.
    ---

    - Made sometime in December '10.
    - Very basic, but I liked the outcome.
    ---

    - One of the few sigs where I followed a tutorial. (or part of it)
    - Tutorial was written by Toadvine of nM, my second most respected gfxer.
    ---

    - Definitely random. Also, first chibi-sig.
    - Was testing out colour contrast on a new smudge technique.
    - Didn't come out quite as I envisioned it.
    ---
    ---

    - I didn't put the name of the game cuz Torsen doesn't like the game.
    - Looks somewhat displaced and out-of-tune, I know.
    - Despite what you see, I spent 3 hours re-creating this thing over and over and over and over and can't recall how many re-edits its gone through. Still didn't come up as what I wanted it to.
    ---

    - My third and favourite ecchi sig. (or tag, w/e)
    ---

    - GunZ Banner Image for AzureNetwork's nav site.
    ---

    - I know I could've done better, but its an icon, I shouldn't overdo it unless I'm getting paid for it.
    ---

    - First icon I made that I liked.
    - Stolen by countless idiots on TG, because of Irvin/Ironic.
    ---

    - An attempt at duplication.
    - A little rough, I know.

The counter sword is my favourite, although you have done something else with the text.

    @Torch.
"although you have done smething else with the text."
What does that mean, exactly? You think the text should be different?
If thats it, then yeah, I think you're right, but I guess there isn't much to do about it at this point.

I was expecting a lot more negativity or criticism from you guys, but meh.

Default soft/hard round brushes, 30% splatter, about 90-100% strength, all other settings changed randomly.

I generally love them, the blending is great, and the images fit perfectly. I like the icons, they should never be overdone, and yours are perfect.
