Nothing spectacular, just did it for my brother's MySpace page, and to sort of brush up a little in GIMP since I've been in Orange County, CA for the past month, with little to no time on any PC.

lmao, I know. I might put some work into another one, I just got a little laugh out of it when I put it together. Besides, it's meant to be simple, because if it wasn't, it'd be hard to read the text on them MySpace pages.

I got a laugh because the quality would've fit his profile, lmao.

On a side note, I'm going to try to make a siggy which will go with this avvy. It's another super quick job, like the wally, which yes, took like 1 minute. XD Yea, I know it needs to be resized, I made it for my MySpace profile page.

Yea, I know my quality of work seems to have faultered, I've just been really busy lately since I've been back, trying to get a job doing Data Entry.

Just let this thread sink to the archives, known as the 5th page and up.

ROFL! :roflmao: I never seriously used the blog feature of MySpace, dunno why I did in the first place. They're posted months in between, with the last one being months ago. I bet if I go look at them, they'll have 0 views still. I should just go delete them to redeem myself.

But that maddox guy is just about as full as himself as the bloggers he so much hates. "There are two kinds of people in the world," those who create reasons for other people to bitch, and those that bitch, guess which maddox is.

took the words right out of my mouth..especially since the link back to his site says Back to how much I rule...and his hit counter says (however many hits)people think I'm right about everything...and calls his page the best page in the universe and his motto is This page is about me and why everything I like is great. If you disagree with anything you find on this page, you are wrong. wow so many reasons

Neither of you got the point. Nevermind though, there's plenty of time to re-evaluate.

Meh, I got the idea. Well, actually, I got more than just one, and one of them is bound to be right, but I could care less.

Either way, to keep this from going off topic any further, rate how shitty the wallpaper is! On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being a solid dropping of poo, to 10 being an incomprehensible amalgum of supreme evil left to ripen in a bowl of putrid pestilence.

In all honesty, something made me like it. No offence (and I'm unconvinced as to whether it was intentional or not), but the 'amateur' style to it put a little grin on my face.

Maybe you saw how much I could care less about the "professional trendiness" that seems to come with every peice of work that comes out of everyone now a days, forgetting that a simplistic, amatueristic peice can be refreshing every now and then...

    ...or not...?

Trying to make it look all professional and the like was the farthest from my mind.

lol, none taken. It's not like I'm trying to take any pride in it, lmao. Hell, I'm not even sure why I even put it up here.

Now, here's another failed attempt at a wallpaper for my myspace page. (Are we beginning to see a trend here? Maybe I need to stop trying to make backgrounds for MySpace.) I was watching standups on Comedy Central yesterday and saw an awesome blacksun/red flame/bluebg backdrop, and wanted to duplicate it... Needless to say, it didn't come out exactly the way I wanted it to, but with the exception of the tatoo graphic, it was all done from scratch. Unfortunately gimp isn't that great with the free-hand area selection tool and making it look clean, so I had to run the edges of the flames with the fuzzy circle eraser... yea... <_<' Talk about amatuerism... Oh, and about the brush being outside the flame in some places, I got lazy when I realized how crappy it turned out to be...

Yea, I know. The guy (Nimue) who got me into Linux has his own (kick ass) FTP server, and he'll put up his installed folder of Photoshop when he gets the space.

You see, CrossoverOffice can run Photoshop CS/2, but can't install them for some reason... And don't get me started on the whole "but what about the registry?! It needs the registry or it wont work!!!" It's called Linux, naives.
