its a map server for mir2 geez
did someone asked them about the server ? (on their forum ) ?
Ok when you'll have the server i want to be a dev gm or whatever :P
I know a little programming and mysql and perl (thou don't like it , but for the game :) )

on the map server thread on that forum someone said he was getting hte files ( the missing ones ) from a friend by icq , he gaved me the name of the files , i got the mir2 site with the same files , so they werent DR, something could had happen , Bad request since the BR couldnt talk in chinese , and chinese sent him the wrong files cos BRazilians call it DR , I call it Raja , other Call it Dragon Raja

I don't think the CN had any DR files, I'm still in touch with the CN who got the files we currently have, server has been patched tho. He did say that he read a rumor that some other CN had <1.0 files, but he couldn't get the guy to send him (fake?).Quote:

There is a huge diference between MySQL and MSSQL :)
You know it so for beeing more accurate i said i know MySQL (thou i also know MSSQL) but if someone would ask me to do something on informix database or some other i would do nothing :) Yup and oracle is similar.
But saying that you know some database you're also speaking that you know how to install it aand manage it and on every vendor this may, and do differ :)

So get back to work, noone 'll give us the missing files.
Better someone who has the opportunity to play DR sniff his/hers packets to understand client server speaking of Dragon Raja
And the hard thing is we must get some knowledge of map structure in DR.
FCK those oficial files they are useles without the rest of files.
So someone 'll get those missing files (how the first was obtained ? ) or we are starting from scratch.

well last time i noticed ( a long time ago ) some procedures from mssql wouldnt work on mysql , but errr for me mysql is a lot more stable

It wouldn't really work making our own map server, since the mapserver has all the maps in the game. So in my mind the map server is the most important thing to get.
