Hello everyone,
Since 'youtube-mp3.org' stopped working I got the idea to create a program that downloaded the FLV file from the youtube host. It worked for about a month and then I think YouTube decided to change something in the accessibilty of those files.
Basically what I did was getting the video HTML document, then splitting it until I got the path to the FLV video, but that doesn't seem to work anymore and I was wondering if anyone DOES know how to get around this.
How I did it
If you go to a random video like this:
Kawasaki Ninja Record Nürburgring 7'50": BEST RACE MOTORCYCLE EVER - YouTube and view the source of the page, you search for "var swf" and inside of that you should find this: "url_encoded_fmt_stream_map". I decoded that and downloaded it and I had the FLV file, but now when I try to access the URL it gives me a Error 403: Forbidden
The result:
Does anyone have a way around it? And no, I don't want to use websites that offer these services.
