The Uniform Server - apache2, mysql5, php5
AppServNetwork - apache2.2, mysql5, php5, phpmyadmin 2.9
I would not succest Apache 2.2, it is most unstablest apache done, at lleast for windows platform
Instead of Apache 2.2 i would succest apache 1.3 or 2.0...
Apache Friends - Apache 2, MySQL5, PHP 5.2.0 + 4.4.4 + PEAR, Openssl 0.9.8d, phpMyAdmin 2.9.1.1, SQLite 2.8.15, ADODB 4.93, Zend Optimizer 3.0.2, XAMPP Security Check (Get the older version with Apache 2 from sourceforge.)
Apache 1.3.37 seems to be very popular and bug-free version (also note the "elite" version number) - many websites are using it (and I am as well).
As for PHP, just get the latest (5.x?) stable release from the site.
Use your eyes and your brain a bit better. The documentation will tell you all you need to know, once you find it.Quote:

You should download each component and install manually, that way you have complete control over the configuration and you also learn and get some good experience from it. Even if you experience any problems, think about it and you'll be pleased when you eventually do solve it!
Umm yeah, it's easy when you know it all, but when there are so many things confusing you when you're a newbie and you are stressed out, it's hard to think straight. I got it all working, though to be honest I don't think that anyones info was of any help in the end. These damn sites just aren't useful enough.
