Can anyone perhaps show me how to set up a simple forum using phpbb2 from scratch.... all i have installed right now on the system is windows 2003 enterprise and Mysql 5.0 it would be much appreciated... never dabbled in mysql with phpbb and stuff...
I need the Forum for a clan that me an friends are creating in a game.

Try using Appserv (google it), its PHP + Apache + MySQL all neatly combined, it'll save you a lot of trouble I think :icon6:
Also, I prefer SMF (Simple Machines Forum) above phpBB, the later tends to get hacked more.. But thats up to you ofcourse :)
But if you secure + modify it a bit fragfrog you should be OK.
well im stuck at the database .... how can i set up database.
im using easy php its working great forsimple site ect... but i need help forming the database for the forums.
