I've made some fully coded websites for people in the past and I've never made any money, granted they weren't the best but it always surprises me to see how much people charge and how much people are willing to pay for websites

For the voting verification thing (as far as I know) there isn't a way around it, once you redirect them to the voting site its all up to them, unless the voting site has some verification stuff you can integrate into...
When you pay such money there is a team of at least one graduated designer, who understands accessibility, readability and other user experience stuff, two or more actual professional programmers/coders and a copywritter. There's usually a sales representative as well. A team of people with non pirated software(you know that adobe/zend/database stuff is not cheapest) that have to pay for office where they work. Not to mention these studios usually have their own cms, they have spent years developing/improving.Quote:

But then again, most of the people who offer you to make you a page will be one-man-team of a school kid who perfected his Photoshop skill by making 1337 signatures and wallpapers for internet forums and is probably using wordpress or any other free cms to make a website.
