After seeing many threads the same, here are a few extra rules that will set things straight.
do NOT request anything for someone else, if a friend needs a sig let them request it themselves!
if you request something, we need replies to any answers people ask so that they can make it. if you dont reply within a week, thread LOCKED!
also if you dont include the required info the first time, thread LOCKED!
for reference, the required info when requesting is as follows:

1. what text do you want on it
2. what size ? or around what size ? (NOTE: MAX SIZE = 468x125px)
3. any specific pictures/renders ? (supply one or we will supply one for you)
4. colors
5. style ? (Grunge, vector, tech, dark, light)
this list will be updated by myself or other mods as needed.
RENDERS
When requesting a signature, include the RENDER you want, not a picture (a RENDER is a .png/.gif with the specific image ONLY, and with a transparent background).

Find a render you like from one of the sites listed above, and include that in your post. if however you cannot find the specific render you want, include the picture but place a [RENDER] tag in your thread title so that people know that they need to render it themselves.

Alright, since there are no real rules for how to request things like: Templates, Spash screens etc, ill make some for you to follow.
Always try to as specific as possible to get the requested stuff faster and more the way you want it to be.

1. What size - This is quite important for everything, "any size" won't do.
2. Colours - The colours for a site, signature, avatar, anything, is quite important. Try to avoid saying "I don't care what colours really, something dark"
There's a huge choise of colours that are "Dark".
3. Style? - There are many styles to choose from with signatures & templates.
Try to make it as easy as possible for the person that's willing to do your request.
4. Features \ Links - If you want someone to make an image navigation with text saying "Links, Downloads, Contact us" etc, say so, that way you wont have to ask them to change something over and over again.
5. Template Coding - Would you like the template coded? Then put that in your request, and if the designer don't have knowledge in Coding, get someone else to do the coding part (Unless you do it yourself).
6. Time & Date - If you request anything, and a user takes time to make it for you, don't bother posting\pm'ing 3 weeks after asking them to change something for you. Cause it's quite Rude, and the one that made the sig\template, might get pissed of. Try to reply and check your thread daily.

8. Good things - Something good to do is to add examples.
Since users can't read your mind, they can't possibly know EXACTLY what you want. So try to add examples, that way, the user get a view over the style & and a basic thought of what you had in mind.
9. Mods - Don't bother sending a PM to mods freaking out like:
