[Help] Changing mined ores....

Hi, noob question here. I'm trying to change the mined ores to +4 ores but can't get it to work. I'm assuming that this would be where to edit it?

RateCnt = 5
Rate0 = ioblu04 9 10000
Rate1 = iored04 9 2000
Rate2 = ioyel04 9 2000
Rate3 = iogre04 9 2000
Rate4 = iobla04 9 2000

Yep, that would be correct. Based on that, blue ores should be most common. Bump up the rates higher.

Thank you for the reply. I did changed that, restarted the zone but still get +1/+2/+3 ores. Does it have something to do with the rates? What would be the correct rates? BTW played with the rates still the same. :$:

Hmm, not sure. Maybe try bumping up the mining speed rate to something like 100x so you can test the rates faster. What do you have the +4 rates set to at the moment?

Still getting +1+2 and +3 ores.

Hm, I'm honestly not sure. Maybe someone else has an idea.

It may be easier to just modify the rates in orecutting.dat so all ores give the same items.

umm i wanna say there is something in the zone for this because i saw a zoneside guard that would allow for mining of +4 ore cant remember which one maybe it was rshield

Yeah i guess editing the zone itself is the only way :$: and i think rons suggestion is the easiest solution for now. Thank you for the replies.
