I have a solid guitar for hard rock, from USA. And that's where i screwed myself, most of my friends love hard rock/heavy metal genre so i thought, what the hell, if they love that and wanna play an instrument, i'll join 'em.

Boom, after 2-3 concerts we broke up, cos that wasn't my style. Now I'm defenetly buying a Jackson Randy Rhoads, just need to work for a mounth more...

So, the point is, don't play what your friends like, play what you like. And if you like DT the most, you should TRY a Jackson and an Ibanez RG(Every RG's good).

You got a music store near you? Or somewhere you can go and actually test the guitars. It's up to you...

And if you like hard rock/heavy metal more, then buy a guitar like Iron Maiden has, it's abit expensive but it's the shit if you ask me. I used to have it from a friend. I had it like 2 weeks, and it's uber... you can literally cum when playing it. :)
'Course I got a music store near me. Thing is that I don't know if they got those guitars that I'm looking for. I've been there a couple a days back and the only Warrior I found there was the JS30WR (if I remember correctly that's the model name), and It's not such a great guitar, it's not any better than my Ibanez GSA60, and costs about the same as a new GSA60...

Actually, when I'm thinking about what you said, it has no point dude. I'm looking for a guitar that will fit MY preference in sound, not other people's. I wanted some opinions about those two models of the Warrior guitar because I wanna know if they are worth the money.

Gah... I pretty messed up the whole point. :x

Got anyone who's a proffesional near you? Don't change your pickups if you don't know how to do it, or if you're doing it for the first time in your life...

And that Warrior is from USA or Japan? Cos it's a big f**king difference...

Carvin? hmmm never heard of this brand... I'll see. Still, I'm kinda locked on those Warriors, I can't help it XD

Anyway, I might be getting a job sometime soon, and hopefully by the end of this summer I'll have a new axe to spend the winter with :D

Sorry to correct you Gonia but Dark Tranquility isn't Death Metal, they are Doom Metal. And if you want a doom metal sound then you want a more bass like electric guitar which I would put my faith in an ESP.

Dark Tranquillity are faaaaaaarrr from being Doom Metal. They are Melodic Death. They have very few songs that contain any Doom elements in them at all. Anyway, dunno, I still wanna try those Jacksons first. But from what I know, ESP got real high quality stuff as well.

They have more doom metal overtones in their music than they do death metal. But, yes they are correctly labeled as melodic death metal. I guess this new album they just put out is a turn in a new direction for them that leans toward the more melodic and "doom" sound rather than the thrashiness of death metal.
