Well I was planing on getting a new guitar pedal I have seen quite a few. Normaly I take boss but I am low on mony atm T.T
So I came accros a ZOOM GFX 1 PEDAL MULTI EFFECTS and was wondering is zoom a good brand?
I never heard of it befor but the cometns on the net "from the selling web sites" are all positive but that might just be to sell it.

So if eny of you are familiar with this pedal I would apreciat feed back on it :)

the best way to know is to go to a music store and trying it yourself. that way you know if you like it and if it's good for you and not if it was good for others.

    sorry for not answering :P

Yeah, the best way is to test it out yourself... If you have an amp I suggest taking that with also, because different amps will give different sounds with pedals.

Now depending on where you live, you can order off of this site, Musician's Friend - Buy musical instruments, music gear, musical equipment online Most of the prices are cheaper then any retail store. So you could go test a pedal out, write down the information, and order from there. Little trick to keep some money in your pockets.

Sorry for the late reply, I must have missed this before :(

It depends on what kind of effects you are looking for. For Multi, yeah Zoom is a pretty good brand. Haven't used one myself though.

Personally I use an Ibanez TS808 Original Tube Screamer Overdrive Pedal. It is a pedal for Distortion effects and it just kicks so much ass for me. And to add to that it goes perfectly with my Ibanez SZ4020FM Prestige guitar.

I always suggest buying the best product to fit your needs
Zoom is a neat brand, as a multi effect,
I've used it when I've played in the local bar a couple of times.

If you need the multi effect, and you're kind of short on cash, get it, otherwise you can go to a bigger music store such as in Paris (I've been to Paris a couple of years ago, there are some nice <expensive> offers there, but most are good options which will satisfy all your effect needs).

Get a Boss GT-8. That should suit you for life. It works fine for me =p
