i agree for most of the bands in there but its very subjective...i'd take out opeth,god forbid, fear factory and soilwork cause i dont really like them :) and post ftr CoB kinda suck too..
i would take out AE(old was great), dimmu,in flames,six feet, DT, and blind guardians. all great group but def not best..for me anyway :)

Good list, I just have to say I really don't like Iced Earth :(
Iced Earth is one of the few Power Metal metal band that I really enjoy listening to. Plus since they are an American band, they bring a bit different sound to the typical power metal genre.
Maybe it's just the few songs i've heard, mainly music videos though.
If you could give me the name of a decent song, i'll have another go at them.
