Attention Guitar Dudes!

Guys, I need some help. I know a guy selling a Cort X11 along with a Boss Metal Zone distortion pedal, along with cables, etc.

He's selling real cheap, just 375$ (The guitar alone would cost 550$ if you buy it new).
Now, thing is, I never tried this guitar, or any other ones around this price range, and I need some thought about this axe and about the pedal.

All i can think of is make sure it plays and sounds right. check it for marks and things, he might be getting more money from you than he can on the internet because of markings or scratches.

otherwise just test some guitars from shops in you local area around that price and see if they sound as good as your friends.

Well, I found this guy selling it on the net on a different forum, so I don't know... and see, thing is, that's why I want some opinions about this certain axe, I have never tried any Corts at all, so I have no idea really what I'm dealing with. anyway from what I heard from my friend is the it's not really worth buying it now and that it's best to save for something better.

Personally I wouldn't take it. That guitar can be found for less then 550$ new and the pedal isn't great and is over rated.

I agree I wouldnt take it too. I never liked Cort guitars :P At the same price and the same style you can find better guitars imho. Like an Ibanez, Jackson or LTD .

Alright, thanks guys. Actually, that's what I heard from all my guitarist friends about this guitar... I'm gonna save for something better.
