@ Bass players - Finger exercises?

Was wondering if you guys have any good right hand finger exercises for practicing plucking speed. Some of the stuff we make up is too fast for my fingers and right now I can't play it unless I use a pick. I just can't move my fingers quick enough.

Anyone have any tips for getting up to speed?

Just walk the stings... a lot.

Speed will build up slowly on its own.

What about triple fingering? It would be a lot easier to hit 32nds accurately if I triple fingered but I just can't get a habit of doing it.

Yeah just like you would walk it with 2 fingers just do triplets with 3. You can even throw your thumb in there after you get the 3 down. Then you can start playing some real bass music. ;)

Yeah I've gotten in to a habit of using my thumb when I walk across strings. My ring finger is a bit on the weak side though.
