Been awhile since I posted here, at risk of getting an infraction I must share this news if you have not already heard.

So, Benn Jordan has released his latest album via P2P Networks for download, included is an HTML file with a message from him. The catch?, what catch?, he asks if you really enjoyed the album to donate.

Despite infringing his own record companies copyrights he's been getting /A LOT/ of praise from P2P Networks and news sites a-like.

It's well worth a listen and a read up on!

I'm sure he's going to get quite an income from this, I know most the users from What.CD who have commented on it have donated already.

I donated about $40 to the artist directly, yet to get the album.

Anywho, yeah I totally agree with what this guy is doing. the RIAA is gunna jump all over it but still, this is what more bands need to do. Unlike Metallica, who owns their own record label, and makes 100% profit from CD sales. Most bands make a good 3% from CD sales if that. This is a good step in the right direction. :thumbsup:
