True. Avenged Sevenfold are starting to make themselves known. I've always liked their music and this latest album, City of Evil shows just how talented they are.

Manowar....The Kings of Metal
Check them out...especailly the songs "Brothers of Metal" and "Warriors of the World(United)".
Iron Maiden > Manowar. It's fact.
Iron Maiden has done alot for the early Thrash scene, and takes acknowlegment more then Manowar in the US. However....Manowar has done even more than Maiden. Hell...Manowar is the loudest band in the world...
Manowar > Iron Maiden. Now that's a fact. (Dont get me wrong, Iron Maiden is still one of the greatest metal bands on the face of this earth.)

talentwise here is what i think:
racer x>iron maiden>man o war.
reason is iron maiden created the basic melodic heavy metal riffing, without them there wouldnt really be metal today, but bruce duckinson can suck a nut for being such an ass at the ozzfest, rest of the band is cool with me.

man o war, needs better lyrics lol, and cd covers, but the guitar is awesome.
Look up the lyrics for Brothers of Metal.....their lyrics are the best IMO.

Iron Maiden is kick ass....but they dont hold the record breaking concert volume.
So for me, its Manowar all the way.
Also, i was at that Ozzfest concert. I dont believe shit on what the Whore Bag (aka Sharon) said. I think shes lying and is just out to destroy Maiden's good name.
And btw...the lyrics for Kings of Metal is "Other bands play, Manowar kills."
