dude.....neil pert is the best drummer hands down.........period. all his little fill ins and solos are pure genious.
Joey jordison isnt bad, but his beats do get pretty repetitive. Another drum thats not as much respected as he is over hyped is the drummer from avenged sevenfold. He is overly hyped, but no one gives him enough credit. Listen to some of their older stuff and hes not too shabby.
Another excelletn drummer is chris adlerof lamb of god. he's a madman at the double bass and crazy rythms heh

Lars Ulrich is the legend(from metallica)...Many drummers inspired to this guy(especially me :-) ) and also travis from blink...No doubt Lars rockz!

Lmao you guys need to listen to REAL music, not any of this teen obsession crap thats out there right now. Best drummer in the known world right now is Dream Theaters Mike Portnoy, you can NOT beat him no matter what. Jordison is good I'll give you that, but he still cant match to what Mike uses in a show, here's his drum setup and he uses all of it
