first off they are not technically metal.

they are classifed as pop-punk for the girlish voice/3 chord songs.

simple poppy music, no skill necessary to play, most songs were made to get a girl to hook up with you by laughing.

now since their old stuff has such over the top lyrics, like one song is about fucking your own grandpa!!!

they are classifed as metal in that sense, but in reality NO WHERE NEAR IT!!!

now after all that is said, before they sold out, they were a hilarious band, but sucked at music all together, the drummer is good but he is in a ska band, he just wanted to make a few extra bucks by playing some random shit.

New metal and metal is not the same thing at all >< yes they are very new metal the way they sing they play what you call skilless playing is new metal ><
