    No, they are not new metal. Stick to things you know about because b1zn4tch is right about the fact that they are pop-punk. But I disagree with b1zn4tch about them having no skill. They are a talented band and wouldn't have sold that many albums if they weren't. Just because they have a few funny songs doesn't make them a "funny band" or "hookup with a girl band." Their songs reflect today's youth and their attitude towards life. And furthermore, they are a 3 man band with 2 singers, they write all their own songs, and they never really "sold out" - they were always a popular pop-punk group.

    Oh yeah, that song about fucking grandpa is a hidden track and should be treated as a "bored off your ass and got nothing else to do" song.

    went off blink n then saw them live, they where really good performers. their older stuff was better. cant wait for the Angels and Airwaves. comes out in april!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    so true my friend!!! i get soo annoyed wen ppl say they cant play there instruments take travis barker if u ever witness a travis barker drum solo i garentee u will get a bit of pre-cum appear he is amazing and yes they are punk-pop or power-pop but they are not commericalised and manufactured band like busted/mcfly/sonofdork

    Blink 182 is the type of band that sucks life, but they are so funny live it makes up for it.......BUT....... you CAN NOT say they dont skill, at least for Travis, (the drummer) he went to school for drumming for 8 YEARS he practiced at least 5 hours a day....I would kill somebody to be as good as him haha.

    He's been drumming since he was 4, hes now 30

    travis is soo respected he's had loads side projestd like he done allt he premixed drum beats for black eyed peas and p diddy/puff daddy drums for blink boxcarracer transplants and now drums for plus 44 respect to travis landen barker

    lol look up the drummer from vital remains

    he did like 800 or so single kicks on a bass drum in 1 minute.

    id like to see travis beat that...

    he is rated worlds fastest drummer, and he is in a death/black metal band with glenn benton (DEICIDE frontman) so he is in the right place.

    blink182 is one of my favorite bands because of their own music style... but i dont like their guitarist's new band [the angel and airwaves] and dont like the new band of their drummer [transplant]...
    i like their all albums specially the live album tom,mark and travais show.. this is a great live perfomance by the band... ^_^
