    Re: Buying a starter guitar.

Never heard of that sort of guitar, i only have a gibson sg and three other fenders.
I also had an acoustic guitar but like, i hung it on the radiator and all the strings came off and the body burned, NEVER HANG YOUR GUITAR ON YOUR RADIATOR BY THE THINGYS THAT YOU TUNE IT WITH, unless you have a plug-in tuner. okay see you later!

    Also nice avatar, metallica rule!

Hmm... I haven't heard of that model.. BUT!! I can give you some advice. If this is your first guitar, then go on an Ibanez GSA60, with an IBZ10G amp. It's the ideal stuff for a beginner like yourself. This is what I started with (and I'm still stuck with that equipment by the way... saving cash for some new gear).

I can tell you for sure, it's great for beginners, not to mention that it's very cheap. both the guitar and the amp should cost you about 400$ or something like that, it's a very cheap for a guitar, and I tell you, I'm using a USED GSA, and I'm still satisfied with it, so a new one would be simply perfect beginner's guitar.

    Re: Buying a starter guitar.

    That guitar is crap ^^
I would really not recommend it unless your going to start and quit learning in a month or so. There are some very good guitars for low prices. But the best thing to do is go with a fried that knows a bit about guitars go to a guitar shop look at all the guitars within your price range and try them all.
If you want to learn guitar and are willing to work and get good I would put a little more money into it.
Well I recommend that you start with a 22 fret guitar that does not have a vibrato on it because all the cheap guitars got bad vibrato systems and make the guitars much worse then they already are.
Well I believe Ibanez is a good brand but that model really sucks get something a bit better.
What I can do is recommend a few guitar models that are cheap and tell you what brands to avoid.
    Brands to avoid:
    BcRich
    Jackson
    Behringer
    Storm
To avoid Jackson has some good stuff but it really isn't a beginners guitar and it's more a metal brand.
    Good beginner brands are:
Ibanez (Ibanez is here but it goes up to pro so don't think that all ibanez guitars are for beginners)
    -Ibanez GRG M21GB
    Yamaha
-Yamaha Pacifica 112J (It got a vibrato but its a good model)
    Cort
    -Cort X 2
    Squier
    -Squier Telecaster
    -Squier Stratocaster
    Ltd
    -ESP LTD EC 50
    Epiphone

Just poking my head in to calm people down. I can see this turning ugly, so just watch what's being said from now on.

My personal choice would be a Fender strat. You can't go wrong.

    Re: Buying a starter guitar.

Hay watch your language who do you think you are?
And squire isn't a top brand thats for sure but it's excellent for starting out.
And yes there are bad brands there isn't a single Bcrich that is good all the models suck they are all badly adjusted (so when you buy it you need to get it ajusted) and so many more problems. And lets not even start speaking of the pickups. Jackson is in the bad list but its a good brand just not recommending it for a new guitarist they got a large fret board and are hard to play on.
And if you could read properly you would see brands to avoid and not bad brands >.> (Who is the idiot?)

Yeah but a fender strat cost a lot more money xD
I personally own one and I love it but I don't think beginners can afford it unless they are rich with a lot of money to wast :p
