Coldplay - X&Y

If your not a fan of coldplay or your just going to have a rant at them then leave it out.

Im just curious what people think of the new album compared to there old stuff. i think its absolutly amazing they have developed as people and artists and oh boy does it show.

But on the other note a friend of mine who loves Coldplay thinks it is 'shite'.

Another friend of mine wasnt keen on it at first but grew to love it.

what do you think?...anyone :( i know theres not many people into this kind of stuff on the forum like but i can always hope for a nice responce.

I like Speed Of Sound, sounds a bit like clocks at first but then it grows on you

I never really heard Mutch Cold play, but that clocks song was alright.

Personally the only time when I listen too Coldplay is when I wanna think about things or im working on stuff, but yeah listening too it a lil earlier with my freinds some it aint very good and what I expected but yeah I would give it a .

I think that with X&Y, Coldplay have develpoed their music and style like you said and although I do like the new album, I can't help but think that its missing something -- something that Parachutes and R.o.B.t.t.H both had in masses.

However, having said that I am listening to the new album more and more and growing to love it. One of my favourite songs, one which most people (my mates mainly) dislike, is 'Fix You'. Just really like that song for some reason :D

Anyway what songs are your favourites off the album?

Well I totally agree, listened too it and thought "If I burnt my money I would of got heat from it more than this crappy music" but I listened again and got into it and more more it grew on meh :D. Would advise too buy it if ya like ColdPlay.

fix you is a great song i first heard it on the OC i loved it from there on out but my fav song by far is...'swallowed by the sea' i fucking love it.

i heard a new coldplay song at budget mart (local gas station in town) and the song is reasonably good.. its a newer one, and i liked it

not really a coldplay fan, its good to relax to though.

im more into jazz and stuff to relax to, but if i wanna listen to something different i pop in some U2, modest mouse, audioslave or this.
