Concert Fanatics: what's the best concert you've ever been to?

Simple. Tell about the best concert/show you've ever been to. Who was it? What exciting things happened? Favorite song they played? Stuff like that.

It was the first concert I saw. Mine would have to be this one time at a benefit concert near my hometown. It was a benefit concert, which means they had multiple bands (abut 6 or 7) and they were all great. My favorite band that played was probably Cat Power, and they played "Maybe Not" (song below). I went to the show with my girlfriend, and it was a huge field where all the fans sat, and a big stage in the middle where the bands played.

It was really quite entertaining, especially for my first time.

Best band there was Reel Big Fish, they were insanely entertaining. Their trumpet player made me lol when he played his Trumpet like a guitar.

A couple years ago I caught a couple blink182 concerts before the whole mess of them braking up fell upon us. Honestly I don't know anyone who wouldn't doesn't like them. Really happy I caught it,they're really funny guys.

I think that in many concerts , the cuality of sound is lost, so i preffer not to go + the bands i like dont play on arg or part of the group is alredy dead (ex queen ;S)

Rock Before Christmas Part II, it was a badass show, Avenged Sevenfold were the headliners, there was also Five Finger Death Punch, Atreyu, and others......it was fun b/c i got kicked off the floor, i put somone in a rear choke....he was being a little douche, he was pushing everyone in the crowd (no music was playing, they were changing out) and he tried taking some girls drumstick that she got from one of the drummers, she started yelling so i ran over and put him in a rear choke and told him to calm down......security took him away and then came back to get me, the people around me were booing b/c they were taking me too, the crowd said "well you shouldve been here to do it, he was doing YOUR job" it was great, i didnt get in bad trouble they just told me to stay off the floor
