    Cool picking technique

    boredum with Stumble apon does it again.

    I came across this video of a guy doing a down, down, up. picking technique.

    I really think if you were to master this it would help you guitar playing skills ten fold.

    Sweet. I'm definitely going to practice this over the next few weeks. But, Im anxious to see ow it sounds on elecrtic guitar.

    it sounds pretty cool, its not as hard as it looks, but to play the way he is playing it is.

    yeah this is like half of sweep picking, and I think it would sound sweet on electric.

    Good news...I have it down and it is a fairly useful technique...it makes doing a 'eighth-note, two-sixteenth-notes' gallop really easy.

    Bad news...I have no video recorder. And my friend who used to let me borrow his has moved away. So, until I have money to buy a video recorder...no video. :sad:
