[Dev] ShoutCast radio for MMORPG users/owners

Well the idea obviously came from KidRamboDubstep's Suggestion for a radio for RaGEZONE.

I seemed to have a Dedi Server with only ShoutCast installed (Coincidence) And came up with an idea something like this:

Your Mission, should you choose to accept it. Is to create a website that features an Online Radio, that is centered upon the MMORPG Private Server Scene.

The website would generate a little bit of profit from adsense and PS ads, and DJ's could be compensated depending on income generated.

There would also be a portable HTML Player for Private Servers to use on their websites.

Whats the point of this thread?!?!?

I want to know what you guys think about it?

So far I have the scripts for statistice, and player. As well as a Listen Link and a basic website design.

Things to Do:
- Set Up User Panel(So owners of private servers can register, and apply for their site to be added to our list of clients, as well as decide if they would like to advertise through us (Image or Audio Advertisements).

- Set up admin panel to approve Clients, make sure they have already included our code on their page, and approve purchases.

- Set up image advertisements

- Set up DJ Panel

- Set up Online hosting of Audio Advertisements for DJ's.

we'll never know if this will become a great idea so that people should come to the ragezone radio to listen what is the latest news about their mmorpg developments ! latest release! tutorials! tricks! hints! and many more! why can't it be.

heh heh heh this idea has been discussed many times. I'm simply one who would DO something about it. Where shoulf it be moved? to some other music related development catagory? If theres one made, move it. If not, this is the only music related forum category on this site!

It's not a suggestion bcause it's in development, and it's not a suggestion for ragezone as it will be under a different name.
