my favourite metallica songs is fade to black and creeping death and the four horsemen i love them all tbh and it is hard to pick a single song especially from the first four albums.
well all thoes songs are sweet....but my solo of choice from them would be the end solo of The Four Hoursemen... i dunno it was sweet when i was 14 and now its not that great anymore....
but my fav. song is Fuel

i hope if metallica release any more albums that it doesnt sound like st.anger that album had so much potential so many great riffs but they ruined it by half assing the recording and using pro tools to copy and paste bits of music together.
that album had no potential, i didn hear one good riff, i bought my CDs up to that CD.
after that, i said i would not buy a CD for about 5-10 years.
it is THE worst metal album i have ever heard.
not one guitar solo, nothing technical, and the vocals were whined.
the arrangement was horrible, songs were using drop c tuning, which in my opinion sounds like shit, at least on that album.
i miss the old old metallica, that was the stuff right there :D
