Which nob you ask?? Hmm lets see, how about the owner of this forum himself MentaL... Forum rule #20 states, "Do not post warez. This includes but not limited to downloads of software that requires to be purchased, software cracks, and serial keys."

In the nearly 3 years of modding for Ragezone I've come to find that Ragezone has never supported illegal downloading of any kind. From now on I suggest you stop attempting to be a smart ass.

Now lets get back on topic or this thread will be closed.

    Re: FrostWire vs LimeWire

i just found it ironic that he said "theres no illegal downloads on rz", yet the top sections are full of them?

and can u not delete my posts again cos there was nothing wrong with the previous 1 which u deleted.

but if ur going to delete posts for being off topic then u need to delete other ppls as well not just mine.

I'm done with you Tai. You obviously think you can give us Mods attitude because you "know" MentaL. You're whole post history is filled with you attitude toward mods. It's time for you to leave this place.

Oh and if you want a exact reason for your last infraction, it's because you were infracted by a Moderator, and you were send a message about it, yet you are trying to continue the discussion. When a Moderator makes it clear that you should stay on topic and stop with your attitude, then you will do it.

There's no central "server." Who ever has limewire shares with whoever else has limewire. Same with Frostwire, and any other p2p program.

Bearshare is terrible, had a virus the moment I installed it. But that was a long time ago, so it could have changed.

    Re: FrostWire vs LimeWire

I've not once had a virus from any sharing prog, through the whole 7 year's of downloading from many of them, some have die'd I think the only way to get a virus is to not look at the file size/name/comments, I think I've had more so called "virus's" from server file's than anything, but then again their not virus's, I don't like to use torrent's as they some time's tend to be slow and I normaly don't download full album's as I prefer the single track's and I can choose what song's I like without downloading the full album just to delete half of them. I still buy album's when I actuly like all the song's or 90% of them, I baught Timberland - Shockvalue (with bouns tracks) and that was like a few months back.

I use torrents to d/l film's limewire for music.

    Re: FrostWire vs LimeWire

Wow~ People can get quite feisty about this topic, eh? It was very amusing to read all of the little spats between the members and some mods about this, though. ^.^ [From an outsiders view, at least]

...Hmm. Part of me wants to scream 'LIMEWIRE' very loudly but the more sensible side of me has a whole other opinion about this. I used Limwire since I was 10 and absolutely loved it; It got me hundreds of songs for my MP3, and I didn't have to search all over the web for each one [I was quite oblivious to the fact that it was against the law]. It was like dream-come-true cause i'm a music addict. But now, I guess you could say I'm not so naive anymore. -sigh- Every miracle's gotta have a catch. Over the 4 years I used it, I had obtained SOO many virus's, and I had no idea during the process. My brother had to use my computer cause his crashed and he practically killed me for getting Limewire- Apparently, it was like suicide for my computer. I ended up having to wipe everything off; I cried while my brother did it, lol. It took me another month to get all of my main things back.

I keep wanting to re-install it, but my brother tattle-tailed to my uncle, who is a computer-worker-person, and he threatened to take away my computer all together. That gets rid of the temptation. xP

    On a slightly related topic...
Aww, Tai got banned? That's dissapointing for me- It was very entertaining to read his posts... But, I suppose he deserved it... He always was a bit rude to the Mods.

[O.O I finally decided to get an account and for my first post, I'd say this is a pretty long]
