    Gigantour 08

Wow, wow wow wow. That was a fucking amazing concert. Every band was just fucking great. I got to the Nokia Theater around 3:00 pm. There were some people there but, mostly because at 3:30 some of the people there were there to meet the band. According to one of the guys I spoke to, they paid an extra $270 to meet Dave Mustaine and the rest of Megadeth backstage before the show. At 4:30 the doors opened and so I got my awesome neon green pit wristband. Got to the first row in the pit and pretty much marked my territory to the surrounding fuckheads who tried to bribe, push, or even begged to get my spot. One chick was even rubbin on my package. =) Too bad for her she still didn't get my spot though, I did my best to clear some room for her and she got in for the band she wanted to see which was In Flames. Now for the results and pics!

First up was High On Fire, they were a power trio power metal band. They were pretty good considering.

After that was Job For A Cowboy but they sucked the most so I didn't take any pictures.

Next was the mother truckin Hate Crew. Children Of Bodom.

Next up was my personal favorite for the night. IN FLAMES!

    Lineup was:
    Megadeth *cough* Megadave
    Children Of Bodom
    In Flames
    Job For A Cowboy
    High On Fire

I think the best pic I got though, was the one with Alexi Laiho looking up while playing guitar.

Do you think that COB has gone weird since Alexi broke his arm/shoulder or whatever?

No. Why the hell would him breaking his shoulder while bowling have anything to do with the band as a whole?

Talking about in general, I listened to a song the other day and it didn't really sound like COB material.

The theater it is usually held at here in Dallas is only like a 20 min drive. But, I must say the place where they put the theater is fucking retarded. It makes getting out of that place a living hell.
