Probably because he doesn't use whatever T-Pain, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West use which makes their voice totally fake. It's his actual voice, and it doesn't sound good because he isn't a singer, he's a rapper. A good one.

Ha yeah thats why its better , rap isnt sang , rap is about 'talking' on a beat and saying the thinks from your soul , not just saying words from your a** for money ... So i think there is no place mentioning these commercial b***hes here

Not bad, people who have never heard a soul singer wouldn't appreciate this.

Haha possibly one of my favourite rap and rock mixes ever, I've got like 250 plays on my iPod for that song.

Most definitely man. Public Enemy will always remain great.

I laugh at your idiocy and ignorance.

1: What does it sound like to you? Soul? Let it be soul then. I'd rather it sound good as soul than like shit as hip-hop (i.e. Lil Wayne). He is a popular (bay area) rapper, and still sounds better than half of what's on the radio.

2: That's what truly saddens me. Kids are so close-minded towards music because they're aboard the bandwagon. I'm sure you haven't ever taken a listen to anything that wasn't on the radio.

Lil Wayne is still one of the best, even though he's fairly new compared to some of the other guys (Dr.Dre, Enimem, 50, Weezy, Jeezy)

I don't listen to rap much either, i usually listen to techno (it's what chicks go for )
But Lil Wayne has some nice tunes, when he does a song on his own, it's not that good, but when it's with another good rapper, the song is good

I hate when he sings with his dad (birdman), they go all gangminded

Anyways, i'd still give lil wayne respect. but my fav, gutta stick with Dr.Dre!

Sorry to let you down man, but this thread isn't about anyone or anything you just listed. Try again in khosh's thread.
