cradle is death metal that evolved into melodic black metal (very disturbing stuff, earthy drums, midrange crackly growl, usually anti religious and about forests)
i love metal. i like everything from metal hardcore to grindcore.
grindcore is basically death metal with no melody at all and there is usually a theme like anti-politics or something, its a music filled with hate.
currently my favorite band is children of bodom. I believe I have everything they have released, look em up, there new stuff called "Thrashed, Lost and Strungout" is more mellow sort of 80s sounding.

favs are Melo-Death, Black, Thrash/Heavy, Speed, rarely Power metal,
and that's about it... we have some good Death Metal bands here in Israel,

i wouldnt say cky pop-punk, not sure what really to say they were, and defnetly bodom rock, there stuff like, silent night bodom nite and anything off hate crew deathrole album
finally i found someone else that likes melo-death :D.
great examples are: old shadows fall, god forbid, in flames, and skyfire.
also great blackmetal is darkthrone, mephistopheles, satyricon, and dissection
