I like mostly all types of Metal.
What really influenced me was Metallica. Then came some friends and showed me Black/Death metal stuff like Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir. Then I got really addicted to Cradle of Filth and had like half year only listening to it.Then I found out that some bands I already knew (System of a Down, Slipknot,Slayer,Ozzy Osbourne,Black Sabbath,Nine Inch Nails,Godsmack,Korn and lots more) were good too and that all influenced me a lot.

Now I'm more into System of a Down's music, but always ready for a change :)

eh...there old stuff was a bit thrashy, but now they are straight up grindcore...

i was into the whole nile phase for about 3 months, but my style of death metal has always been old cannibal corpse (chris barnes style, even though now he sucks ass), vader, morbid angel...all my morbid angel was lost in a reformat...AND IT WAS .FLAC FORMAT!!!

cradle of filth and dimmu borgir play somewhat black metal, even though they fit into some wierd genre called vampire metal... i just call it black metal like most people lol....

but true black metal is stuff like dissection, bathory, and dark funeral.

well good to see there are other metal heads out there that are coming onto the forum :D
