So, I'm a big fan of LP, I love their songs.
But recently, like in their new album "A thousand suns", they completly switched style, from being, lets say "rock"-band to a technorock-band.
Anyone else thats noticed that?
And if so, how do you like the change?
I was a fan of them, but after they released Minutes to Midnight I stop listening to them. In my opinion, they became too commercial. But I have not heard this new album, I hope it's much better than the last.
new album blows. they advertised the shit out of The Catalyst because it is the best song on the cd, and even it sucks.

Saw em live last month, their new songs are shit-house. The crowd was almost completely silent when they were playing their new stuff, nobody likes em nor do they even know the lyrics.

I've been downloading and playing their old stuff for years and it was so good that I decided to buy the albums I dl'd illegally for years to support them. And they waste all their support on acoustic contamination, what else can you call their new songs?
I do this with all other artists as well though.

I dunno, i love there old songs, but there "Thousand suns" album is not bad. There are maybe 4 songs i dislike, but heh that's me, i am a big fan.
Blackout is pretty good, though i hate scream, but still i love the backing tune.
Yeah, Blackout is okay, I mean, I like when he takes it slow and all that, and the rest isnt that bad, but that they went from the BIG change from their old style to this new techno-like, just makes me mad. They were perfect as they were before, like 1.5 year ago, and now its just like they didnt like their old style and changed it instantly. If they did a few "transistions" I guess those would have been good, but the new ones are just so.. not Linkin Park.
