I think there are some good songs weather it's metal, hip-hop, rap, rock or whatever. There'll always be that "one" song you'll like. But I dunno, I used to like rock before, now I only listen to Tupac. Some of his songs are absolutely great. For example, Brenda's got a baby, Changes, Letter to the President and so on. See, Tupac wasn't all about "I fucked them hoes in my limoes - so on" Of course he made those kinds of songs aswell. But most were really truthful, and were about the real life in the bad parts of U.S. Just read the lyrics of "Brenda's got a baby" I didn't see any other rapper make that. I think if you've been trough alot of shit in your life, you'd understand some of Tupac songs, but then again if your life's a fairytale you'll most likely hate him. One thing I hate about rap is the "G" shit. Oh c'mon from all the rappers, let's say 2-3 are actual gangsters, all others say it to get more dough. But, different people come with different opinions.

lol yeah, one new and good rap song i know is That'z my Name by Sly Boggie. that song has some really nice lyrics, and really has some message in it. there, he raps about the life in the ghetto, when every kid is simply born with no future, and basically does nothing in his life, and just trying to be "cool" and "hip". one sentence from that song that summerizes it - "I need to take ma ass back to school, but all i wanna do is jus act the fool".

umm that "rock" you're talking about is actually emo music. if you want some REAL rock, try Nirvana (they sing about real life too) and maybe Guns & Roses.
Mugging is smth normal and it happends everywhere not only at rap concerts the same with shooting, so u can be mugged or shoot on ur own street, u dont need to go at a concert for that.
For example a friend of mine was hit in the hed with a wooden stick(maby a baseball bat) and befor he got up the guy(s) that did that left.Or a guy was cut too pieces with a katana in a club for beeing a tought guy so shit like this happen dayly maby and if ur next bad for u.

Do us all a favor and read up on Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, U2, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, etc. Until you can convince more than 1 person (not including yourself) of that kind of bullshit, you don't need to post here anymore.
And a singer puking and pissing on people? Where the hell did you get that kind of info? You must be on some drugs 'cause there are very few bands/singers that do that kinda shit. If a singer did that to me, I'd climb up on stage and knock his ass out. Don't base your statements and opinions of Rock 'n Roll/Heavy Metal on the actions of a select few bands in one particular genre.
