Metal Fans - Megadeth Or Metallica

In my Opinion Megadeth - Because Mustaine is a Legend and his Songwriting is alot better.

my idea of true thrash is megadeth or slayer, metallica was thrash for one album...

hard question, i like the stuff metallica made with burton, but i also like the stuff megadeth made with friedman..
so, i don't think i'll have an answer to this one in the near future ;x

Oh......the eternal question. Maybe greater than the question to life itself.

On one hand, you've got THE biggest band in metal/rock, Metallica (or so every magazine and tv show says)
-When Metallica was with Mustaine, You had "Kill em All". THE essential album for thrash metal fans and anybody in between. Then Mustaine got the boot and was replaced and you had about 4 years of mediocre albums. Then the unthinkable happened. They cut their hair(a travesty to metaldom), stopped playing solos, and started producing crap.

On the other hand, you have the less known, but equally popular for some reason Megadeth. These guys have thrown down with the best and it's too close to call. Megadeth have put out many albums which most people would call "mediocre" and stuff like that, but for that die hard fan and the metalhead, this is the best.


Well anyways yeah..........My choice is Megadeth hands down. If metallica would have stayed with the 80's and what not, then of coarse it would be them, but they've changed way too much and out of my liking. Megadeth has stayed constant with the exception of an album or two

Hmm megadeath or metallica. I'd have to say metallica. Their music is kickass.

You guys suck though:D. Queensryche = Teh Fathers of it all. If i remember correctly they're even before judas priests time. Not many people have heard of these guys though. They're old but fucking awesome.
