yea, i said that. true they're lyrics are powerish, but they are classified as heavy anywhere you'd check. they're some kind of mixture between power and heavy.

If Hair Metal were here I'd choose it.. that's basically the same thing as metal pioneers so I've edited the option =p

no, it's not the same. take for example Motorhead. they're metal pioneers, but they are Heavy/Thrash Metal. Iron Maiden is the most known of all metal pioneers, but they are British Heavy Metal. Hair/Glamm Metal is a very different genre, not to mention that some glamm metal bands behave like faggots and would dress like women - unlike the pioneers.

Oh and by the way The Haunted are thrash :P.

and, i'm not really a norther fan. i hear em sometimes, but i prefer Dark Tranquillity. i voted Melodic Death, cuz my favorite band is melodic death. actually i listen almost to any subgenre of metal.
