Damn it took me awhile but both metal and hardcore rock have become parts of my life and I'm damn proud of both of them. What are you Fave bands people? Mine are:

I don't know most of the band here, but I know that MetallicA and Mudvayne are really good (MetallicA is the first band i heard I think, my bro was a pain when I was 6)
and Iron Maiden are good too (The Nomad is now playing XD)
But as for my self I dont consider my self a Metalhead, since I dont listen to these bands just for fun of being Metalhead(like alot of ppl I know).
I like to enjoy the music, and to try play it (drums), unless it's Dream Theater of course.

heck there are anti anti-christian, and they have some pretty dark lyrics but its wierd since they arent meant to be evil lol...
metal has just this feeling to it, no other music has it, plus metal can be so different.
from progressive (Angra, Dream Theater) to death metal (cannibal corpse, vader) to black metal (dissection, bathory)
i love metal, drumming is kickass, i love guitar solos, i love teh bass!!!
what else is there to like, its the perfect genre of music, hard, fast... gets you amped up for sports.
Well, Dream Theater is not progressive metal, isn't it called Progressive Rock?
