    More Music

Ok well I'm seriously loving metal and I'm really into Slipknot, The Parkway Drive, Disturbed, Static-X, I Am Ghost, The Used, Rammstein, Atreyu and I also listen to punk rock such as HIM, Sum 41, and I was looking for more music and since I'm new to this genre I have no idea where I should look I've asked mates but yeh there slack and cbf telling me lol, anyway so What I'm asking is can you guys just post all the bands you know in this sort of genre, Cheers :boobies:.

It's similar music. I didn't say they are metal. If he likes Disturbed he probably will like 3 Doors Down.

umm those are completely different bands, with completely different sounds.

Best thing to do is go to either Pandora Internet Radio - Find New Music, Listen to Free Web Radio or www.lastfm.com and create a radio station, and just sit and wait. That's how I find new bands anyway.

None of those bands are metal Kurt. Except for Rammstein. They are all metalcore and screamo. Look at my last.fm profile to see real metal bands. In Flames is kick ass though.

haha like I said before, go to one of the stations I mentioned above, and create a radio station.

The sites will pull music with that genre and style and play them fore you.

I feel that Pandora does a much better job at picking out songs then Last.FM does, but I'm pretty much the only one who thinks that. (but I'm the music mod, so what does that tell ya :chinese: )

old stuff is good. Iron Maiden, Metallica (older albums), Demon and Wizards, Blind Guardian, Gamma Ray (although most of those except metalica are more power metal) and Iced Earth.

I don't know if saying metallica's albums before master of puppets were in any way punk a good thing to say...and as for iron maiden, they're were never "punk."
