    .mp3 or .ogg

    Which do you prefer ?

    I myself prefer ogg files because obviously the sound quality is so much better, but they are only playable with winamp, thats a minor point tho, ...

    .ogg is kickass, problem is, the only players that support it, support lossless encoding.

    so its pointless to get .ogg.

    id recommend for anything lower then 160kbps WMA

    anything above that mp3.

    if you are an audiophile like me, get .flac or apple lossless(ipod).

    im using mp3 right now, cause im getting that one phone.

    but for sound quality, burn lossless music to music CD-Rs.

    yeah, .mp3 plays on almost anything...but if you are able to play .ogg go for it

    some mp3 players are being released as .ogg only, so you might be in luck, go look on newegg. i think iriver recently started .ogg encoding.
