Music Midtown 2005 - Atlanta GA - 70+ bands over three days on three stages!
That's right folks. The Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta is just around the corner again. They're celebrating their 12th consecutive year and they've pulled out all the stops.
If you've got money in the bank next weekend, and you live near the Atlanta area, you MUST see this event! It'd be a shame and a sin both if you didn't show up.
I normally don't promote stuff like this, but I've been going there for the past three years, and it's only getting better with each year (god's honest truth, I've loved it, and I hate crowds.)
Do you like contemporary Rock? They have it
Do you like Classic Rock? They have that as well.
Do you like country? They have that too (Deep south, of course there'll be country)
Rap? Oh yeah, they have that. (It's in Atlanta, of course there's rap (Both old school and that new junk))
It's a nice, clean, family environment (except near the beer tent) in one of the most scenic areas of Atlanta (And believe me, there aren't many in that screwed up little city.)
Tickets are $75 for all three days Indivudal day passes are available, 20 bucks a pop, but it'd be a shame to not be there all weekend.
Now hold on, I know what just ran through your mind. SEVENTY-FIVE BUCKS?!? THATS INSANE! Well, when you've got access to almost eighty bands (that's 80 bands), it's actually quite the bargian. You'd pay the same amount to see three bands at any other venue, and those are nosebleed seat prices.
So get your lawn chairs, fill up your coolers, and come on down to HOT-Lanta (And bring sun-screen, 'cuz it's going to get fuggin' hawt and I know most of the more dedicated users here haven't seen the sun since last summer). :D

Hope to see ya there! Just look for the well-built redhead with the shirt that says, "There's two people fucking on the back of my shirt! <back> Just kidding, believe in Jesus"
