We are a christian heavy metal band. We've been playing for about 2 years now -_-
edit: also please ignore the crappy drum sounds. we're using a drum machine for everything because we recently kicked our drummer out.
that song new metal is extremely catchy, good recording would really help out.
i like your sound its like a mix of in flames/atreyu. it is very unique.
if you guys get a screamer or whatever you could make it big in the christian hardcore scene.
be up in the ranks of as i lay dying probably :D

I agree with Kamuro in its great music, a very catchy track New metal and i now have them playing in my playlist alot, keep on bringing tracks like this out the band will be a winner :)
only unsure thing well to me is having the scream like vocals in the chorus background aswell, but seen as its hard metal it should fit in.

basically kaoii you should play a style called metalcore.
it is heavy metal guitar with screaming hardcore vocals, and since a lot of hardcore kids are christian you would probably be liked as much as as i lay dying and other bands like that.

edit: liked the first one more, it would be better if the guitar sound was more "fluid" (don't know how else to describe it).The second one would make a good movie soundtrack me thinks.Two words of advice wich you already know.Get a drummer and a recording studio :P

heading in the right direction.
maybe youll catch a record deal or something, just get a quality mixed/recorded demo.
tell the screamer to do sort of a growl/scream
it will add bass to the scream, first learn how to do a death metal growl, then do the scream, and you have the hardcore voice.
it is hard to explain... but once you have tried it you will know what i mean.
