Need a program to sort out my music

Basicly my list of music is growing, however since most uploaders don't actually put in the correct information or stuff like that, I end up with all sorts of crap that I need to manually change myself in this case Windows Media Player. Now I don't mind doing that, however since it doesn't seem to save the data in the actual file, I get the same crap on every other device.

So I was wondering if there is a good program that I can let loose on my music folder to sort it all out, permanently, preferably one that also changes the file names so they all have the same sort of name.

It links to your itunes. It can recover all missing album artwork, get rid of all duplicate tracks, and much more.

Meh both need to be paid for if you want them to be of any use... Surely there should be free programs for this, the information is already in existence, all it needs to do use the data in WMP to change the file names and all the song info etc.

I know Winamp has a built in auto-tag feature that pulls information from music databases and auto-tags pretty much. I've used it quite a few times for the same reason.

Yeah you pay $20 a year for TuneUp. But is totally worth it.

I'm sure you could find a free DL link somewhere though.

You can do what I did, and get it for free. I started following them on Twitter and said how good of a program it was, but I didn't have $20 (was totally lying) so they re-tweeted what I said and shot me a free code.

Haha in my line of business you don't need a social network, you need a social empire. I'm pretty much on any major or up and coming social site out there. :P

Also for PC I loved Winamp. You have a millions of different skins to choose from. And it does do a pretty good job at keeping your shiz organized.

I'm tired of my i-pod and phone having 6 different artist listings for the same artist due to the names having different spellings. Is there a program out there that will automatically sort and edit my files so that Ben Harper songs will be in the same artist listing as songs by benharper? I need a program that will directly effect the files themselves. I could go through one by one in my imusic program and edit each file, but that wont transfer for the files I have in Vcast Music Manager program(for my cell phone) since I upload music for both programs from a separate, rather large file where I store my music. Thanks for any help.
