I'm looking for a new guitar and because the only electric i ever had was a fender i'm not sure what to get. Deffinatly don't want a fender because i hate them so much. Any suggestions please, would be more better if you played it aswell. Always loved the look of Gibson - especially Les Pauls and not to expensive, under
If I had that sort of money to throw on a guitar, I'd probably go for a Gibson Firebird.

I agree with Siggy, go with either a Gisbon line guitar, or the Gibson Firebird. Otherwise, blow it on something for your computer =D.

I recommend on trying out the Ibanez RG2570EX from the RG Prestige Series. I liked this guitar a lot. You might wanna take a look at the Ibanez IC400 "Iceman", too. My friend got a guitar similiar to the IC400, it's pretty awesome. Also, might wanna try the Gibson SG Standard, it looks pretty interesting to me.
Also, if you can, try out the Jackson Warrior WRMG for me! I wanted to try it out, but couldn't find it anywhere.
Get a Les Paul. If you have the money to get a Les Paul...get it. One of the greatest guitars ever made. You can practically get any sound out of it. Another good guitar would be a 57 Stratocaster. Reissue Strats are just as good though...if you find a actual 57 Strat like mine...it's going to cost you about $2,200 USD.
Guess i shouldn't of really said i hate fender because i don't, i've just played one and need a change tbh i've heard a les paul and omg they're so awesome but yeah i'm just looking to change for a while and i can always swap between the new one i'm going to get an my old one whenever tbh. :P
What one would you recommend because i know there's types of it - Epiphone, vintage. If just a Gibson would you know a rough price off the top of your head? because i know they aint cheep :P and the ones i've seen on different sites vary some are bruetaly expensive others are reasonable
Thanks for the comments guys i'm checking them all out now and if they sell them in shops near me i'll test them out before i buy one for deffo.
Hmm... last time I checked, the Les Paul Studio and the Les Paul BFG don't cost that much, they were just in the price range you mentioned before, so I think you should try 'em too. BTW, you can always try some Epiphones. If you see any Goth Series Epiphone guitars and decide to try them out, share with me the experience later plx :D
You're not alone, bud. I'm not really a Fender fan neither... Not really the sound for me.
