Online Guitar Lessons...

I want to learn some guitar, but don't want to do it in real life, just some free, online courses.

Anyone know any websites with online guitar courses?

(I have almost never played a guitar in my life... So has to be basic stuff, as well as advanced stuff for when I get better)

They're pretty decent. But if you're not going to get taught irl, you might want to watch videos like John Petrucci's Rock Discpline for technique, for things like alternate picking and maxizing accuracy and speed.

Download Guitar Guru , is a very good program , it teaches you tone by tone some songs.

It has for example , :

Behind blue eyes - The who
Stairway to heaven - Led Zeppelin.

or better of, do it like I did. Buy a guitar, learn how to read tabs, and practice.

i bought a guitar and a begginer guitar cd.
its really hard without a tutor

I called my dad up last night, he told me where his electric guitar was stored. I got it, and in the case I found the guitar, a huge amp, a huge bag of picks (like over hundreds..) a few packs of gum, DVDs, and books, how to play guitar.

Haha, but I justw ant some more information online.

doing it irl is better, you just need self confidence and some perceverance :P its not that hard

its better than watching videos and using sites to learn, doing it with other people makes it funnier and faster xD
